bloody sims 2

thanx for the help but i fugured that part out, but alas...there is another problem. i got the game to work...but after 15 mins of playing it, the screen goes black, and a white box comes on the screen saying that the 3d effect cannot be performed, and the game shuts off... i dk wut to doo help!!

Not so sure about this. You could try updating drivers for your graphics card and etc apart from that the only other thing I can think of you doing is searching on Google for problems refering to the message you got by searching something like: Sims 2 errors saying 'the 3d effect cannot be performed'. Not quite that but something along that line if you catch my drift.

well, i just downloaded a new driver and that 9.0 thing, but i will try what else you said thanks for the help :P

This means that your Graphics card is not compatible with DirectX 9.0c

If you want to play The Sims2 then you need to upgrade your card :thumbup:
