In this contest i believe there are no winners or losers ATI and Nvidia are both the best brands of Video cards. (all the others are cack because hardly anybody knows any other brands e.g WinTV, Matrox etc.) and when new cards come out they differ each time. E.g the latest Ati card could be better then Nvidia's latest one, and they can switch. I always though that ATI and Nvidia could team up and make a new name such as Atvidia (yeah that sounds crap but its the best i could think of). For those who live in UK Lloyds bank and TSB bank formed up and called them selves LloydsTSB and they are better off now then when they were seperate. Just imagen The super fast cards with the latest technology of drivers they could buil the ultimate card of all time (another crap made up name) The Wondertech 10k. I don't know if you like this idea, but please i want to hear what you think. but over all go for what you really want mate, listen to your heart.

Thats not a horrible idea, but you have to think to yourself, if ATi and Nvidia weren't Rivals... and they were joined together... would they even bother in trying their hardest, in making the fastest and better looking cards? But that could also be the complete opposite so.. why argure! :P

i honestly don't get this ATI v NVIDIA thing. i think its a conflict best left to the companies than it is a problem for the buyer. at the end of the day the'yre both good card brands. its just a case of gettin the best performing card for the money you're willing to spend at the time.

Both card companies have some great products. I think that as long as you are happy with the display and framerate of your games etc... then does it really matter if it's being done by an ATI card or an NVIDIA one. ;) |

Hello
Well if you are wanting a very quite and fast card i would go for the ASUS Nvidia range, there fans are very quiet, they don't make any vibrating noises that rattle the board and annoy, all you can hear from there fans is a shushing noise, but with the lid on computer that noise is muffled. Also the reviews have said that the 6800 are better than ATI, i hate ATI anyway its like i hated that S3 company and herkules company and 3dfx, i stick with the big names, and that is INTEL for processor, and Nvidia for graphics thats all you need. Regards Andrew

In all D3d benchmarks that come out on VGA charts. the X800 Leads. also in OpenGL the X800 is catching up. X800 vs 6800 in Doom3? now in 3-5fps difference.. completely unnoticable. ATi's X800XT holds the crown in performance. AMD+ATi is the clearly stronger solution. the AMD64 is on a completely different page in performance with all of its innovations.. whereas intel is just flat out slopppy with this release. Toms, AnandTech. PCGamer. . Comparison of 100 GPUs by I dunno who. All proclaim the X800XT PE is the best. Give me some contridictory sources please? Because I sure as hell will give you more pro X800 if u want. You seem to be a mix of all sorts of fanboys. |
