well this gets better and better, just bought an audigy2nx to replace my s****y onboard avance sound, thinking it would solve all the problems. only thing is the sound from the very start still sounds like my pc has the hiccups, or is being stomach pumped or something. seems to be mainly with speech in the game. i haven't got past the game intro or the campaign intro yet because its just spoiling the whole experience and i don't wanna ruin it. anyone else have/had the same problem? how is it overcome?

sorry to clarify that on reading back, its basically choppy sound during this particular game. speech and music being frequently broken by short silences.
