I just upgraded my vid card to a ATI Radeon 9550 agp128megs and loaded Directx 9.c. My Star Wars Games Are Running great, but when I tried to kick on my Halo, It gives me a "Hardware acceleration may not be enabled, check dxdiag."
Did all of that, it tells me everthings ok, but my ATI software tells me DiirectX is the problem. I cant uninstall 9.c and it wont reload. Im looking at a complete system reload to fix this. Any Ideas?? |

If Hardware Acceleration is enabled under DX Diagnostic Display tab, then it may be a known issue with Halo. Some games (POP) won't tolerate any anti-aliasing...
not sure if Halo is one. Get latest ATI drivers (4.10 now), and check ATI release notes for any Halo issues. Failing that, email ATI Support. |
