about 8 months ago i commited a mortal sin (dont hate me for this) i sold my pc for a modest price and done without for a whilenow i am scraping from the bottom up again the pc spec i sold was as follows =
athlon xp 1800+ OC'D to 2200+ cooled with a thermal take volcano 7 msi k7n2 delta ilsr mobo 512 ddr pc3200 powercouler radeon 9600pro 128mb seagate 7200rpm 120g hdd seagate 7200rpm 40g hdd dvdrw/cdrw pioneer 106a now i recently baught a cheap base system of my friend to reborn my small monster this consists of= athlon xp 2000+ 512 ddr pc 2100 xfx mx440 64mb asrock 400 bus mobo maxtor 7200rpm 80g hdd what i need to know is what grfx card should i buy to better my older one baring in mind i live in the uk and the cards are cheaper i do not wish to have an nvidia either the one i have seems to cause a lot of conflicts with the cheap mobo aand i aint after replacing that yet either nore money for the grfx with the release of hl2 and nfsu2 coming i need to enjoy my pc experiance again and the mx440 really restricts me at the mo cheers peeps |
