ok. I will try to say this as short in the best way possable. OK.

My computer has been laggin for sometime now. I have ran 3 different virus checks, ( Norton, Mcafee, and PC Cillin) None are showing viruses, I called my internet provider and asked if something is wrong with there servers and they say nothing is wrong. Now, my thought is. Can it be my plugs?? As In, to many plugs in 1 outlet. Can that cause a computer to slow down?? I have 2 outlet plugs in my wall, but i have 2 (8 extention plugs in the 2 outlet plugs in the wall) (Confusing i know lol) all 16 plugs are filled up. But my worrie is, my computer has never slowed down before,

Can it be possiable that all 3 virus checks can not find what is suppose to be there or is it to much power being drawn from other applinences??

Thanx for the help.

BTW my computer is, P4, 2.80 ghz, 1gb of memory, 256mb memory card.

Maybe it's not a virus ;)
You may have spyware or adware running on your P.C.
If you have not already done so, check out these programs

http://majorgeeks.com/download506.html (AdAware6 SE)

http://majorgeeks.com/download2471.html (SpyBot search & destroy)

If you find any Spyware or Adware then these programs will romove them.
If you update theses programs every week they can stop further intrusions. :nxs:

This program is a great defender of nasties.

If you run it with Firefox (Internet Browser) From Mozilla

then you will have even better protection.

backup your stuff. format your system drive, then reinstall windows. usually solves most similar problems

Yeah, that sounds about right

If you are finding that files are being deleted there is no point in arseing around for ever trying to sort it out.

This way you can guarantee that it is clean
