I have been thinking about buying a TFT monitor but i would like to know if i will have any problems with the graphics card, the reason i ask this as i have an lcd tv and when i update my gc i get a memory dump error if i dont update its fine . anyway i was wondering if the same problem could happen with an tft monitor, is the connection i need d-sub or dvi connection or other the gc i am buying has these connections or does the 15 pin connection work fine when updated please help thanks guys.

well...

it depends which TFT you buy. Mostly the expensier ones have both D-Sub and DVI input, so you can use your digital connection from your graphics card.
and no, there definately won't be any problems with updating and such. good luck with your buy.

i've never had any problems with iiyama monitors, i've had crt and tft off of them and never had a probs

I have a ProphetView 920 DVI and it's great. :thumbup:

It has a 20Ms respose time which is good for games. :thumbup:

TomsHardware gives props to the Prophet 920.. but its impossible to buy anymore..
