I dont know if you read a post of mine a couple days ago"cod config reset=unplayable lag"
Anyways tonight i found the problem by mistake and hopfully one of you guys can help with the solution namely SEPHT as i here hes a bit of a ATI fanboy?"

anyway tonight i downloaded ati tool which registered my memory at 344.25 and core at 391.50 oc by default? anyone could be mistaken i would get better performance like this OH SO WRONG!
ive been kidding myself the last 2 weeks my games are playing as normal but after reverting the clock back to the proper default 337mem 378core things were back to normal as all my games especially cod play like silk.
Right heres the problem:After restarting my computer regardless that i configure the card to boot at the RIGHT clock/mem speeds its still boots oc'ed? I even downloaded radlinker for a second opinion but its just the same, ive also reformatted twice in a week with 4.8/9/10 catalysts but still the same,i must add that iv kept my system stock as possible since upgrading apart from 3d marking01 it on the day of build"21341 if you care"and even then i only oc'ed the card a fraction which then WAS displaying the right mem/clock but this was over a month ago so cant have anything to do with it can they?only in the last week my games have been playing s**t.
sorry for the long post

i just want to give as much info as possible hoping one of you tech savvy guys can shine some light on this for me whether it suggesting how to get my card back to its proper default or how to keep it uc'ed to its default after reboot and why has it just decided to oc itself when iv not been near the mem/core.
My specs Sapphire atlantis 9800 pro 128mb

asus a8v dlx,A64 3500+,1g3200 corsair xms.
Cheers.
