bf1942 desert storm mod

I downloaded the DESERT STORM demo for BF1942 and cant get it to run. Can anyone help? I down loaded it and could not find any installer or anything? What folder shoudl it be in? HELLLLLLLLLLLPPPP it looks great and I wanna play!!!

isn't there a readme file?
Else go to a Desert-Combat or BF1942-mods forum...at least that's what I would do

Bf1942 is a great game, i managed to finish it the last week

I have been having the same problem. I have read the readme and been to their site and both offer no help, but I'm working on it and as soon as I figure it out I will let you know

Extract it to your "Battlefield 1942" directory ("C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942" by default). After that, click "Multiplay," click "Custom Game," and then activate Desert Combat. You can update your server list and filter out regular Battlefield servers

I did try that and it didn't work but, I think it might have something to do with when I reinstalled xp, I just left the game on there and as everyone knows..it rewrites your reg so I think I just have to reinstall BF

It should go in the BF1942/Mods folder.
