FlatOut Demo

I have heard so much about this flatout game. So I downloaded it and...it doesn't work.Whenever I double click the demo icon,the screen goes black and then goes back to my desktop. The game is still running in my taskbar so it didn't close. Can someone help me?

What seems to be the problem?

Tell specs and maybe we can figure something out!

In my case the detonator driver screwed up.

I'm new to this whole being a mod thing, but isn't RedWrist's sig a little long? I mean it's like half a word doc.

And yes, specs could narrow down your problem quite a bit

I got Flatout workin and my twisted side loves to see em be through 100 meters in the air

About my sig,if its a problem I can cut it down

I minimized all the words,hope thats better

In case of problems from the creators:

So far it looks like NVidia card owners with driver version 66.72 drivers are experiencing difficulties (BSOD/reboots). 61.77 seems to work, so you might want to consider switching to that version if you're having trouble.

Also, for ATI owners, switching from 4.90 to 4.10 has helped some.

We're looking into the both cases and if there's something else as well.

However, this is just an initial impression, your mileage may vary. We'll start collecting information about the affected
