Hi ive just got need for speed underground 2 and it loads fine but when i play the game i get random lock ups and when i drive towards the city its just freezes altogether. Ive looked every where for a solution and found zilch! I have the latest nvidea drivers plus the latest nforce drivers for my mother board. Any help help with this guys would be apretiated.
System specs: AMD 2.8 XP+ 1 gig DDR 2700 mach 4 nforce 2 mother board Geforce Ti 4200 XP with service pack 2 ( im wondering about this sp 2... ) P.S. My gfx card is kinda old but its still briliant, works on every game and no problems except this pfff. |

I have the same card (MSI 64 mb edition) no problems at all.
Are you saying you get freezes and crappy game play, it hang a lot and such? If so, disable the V-synch /AA/AF and lower some settings. If your card is over clocked, try reducing the values by 1/0.1, MHz. (Only if you have over clocked the card) I have SP 1 but I don't think that could be a great impact on the game if u have SP2 (try running the game offline, meaning disconnect from the internet) Tell us how that goes.
