HL2 - 'WATER HAZARD' section

Guyz + Gals,

How the hell do I get past the radioactive waste in the 'WATER HAZARD' section in HL2?? How is anyone supposed to be able to do that either?? Come on, Valve! :rant:

Hello there and WELCOME TO HELL!

Heres what ya do ( if its a thing where you keep dieing):

1.Type sv_cheats 1 in the console
2. Then type 'god' in the console
3. Then go accross the waste
4. then type 'god' again in the console
5. then type sv_cheats 0 in the console...

all done! :P

you're still supposed to have your jetboat, i'm guessing you left it back at the part where the tanker was on fire, in case you didn't notice you can slip by in the jetboat on the right side, now you feel the pain of the radioactive waste :rant:

there is a console command to spawn a new jetboat, but i forget the command, if you don't feel like h4xing then you can just go and get it, if anyone knows the command, however, please tell B)

Did you lose the boat?

more info please where are you?

If you have boat drive it across the pond and up on
land near closed gate>get out and find lever.

is that the one with the boxs? use your grav gun to move a box in front of you. Jump on it. then take the one u were standing on and move it in front of you. Repeat.

Knut,

Left the boat back at the crane thingy with the container box thingy (what's the point of that??) Figured that I was required to leave it there, since I could now proceed on foot without wading through the radioactive waste.

I also shot down the helicopter gunship that was waiting for me at the end of the first tunnel with the RPG, but couldn't get through the second due to radioactive waste on the floor.

What pond?? What lever??

OK think I'm with you now Scanboy.
You are past where I thought you were.
You still need your boat to go through waste.

When you crawl through the tunnel you''ll see two plastic barrels>
push them in the water below>jump in the water>put barrels under cage.
You now have a ramp.

Again ill reitterate. Restart the map, go back and grab your boat(if you can), or cheat across it. Id recommend one of the first 2, better to replay boringly, then to miss out on part of the expirance.

This game auto saves a lot and even walking back to red barn would not be all that harsh
unless you're attacked by chopper. The boat should be where you left it. ?
