CS:S CVAR List.

To get this to work you need to, open Steam --> Play games --> Right click CS:S --> properties, click Launch Options button, a box will appear. you now need to define how much memory the Engine will use. RECOMMENDED: half of overall memory, eg... 1GB or ram = {1024/2}x 1024=524288 bytes of ram. ;)

The memory figure must be correct otherwise the game will not load.

So the command that goes in the box is as follows -heapsize(Ram figure)-console

Now start the game and hit the TILDE key (under escape key) this will bring up the command console

lol I already said this in the HL2 forum.. heapsize.. other then that

Defaultly CSS and HL2 only use a heap(ram usage) of 64 megs, no matter how much you have, so setting it should really help you out.
