Need help with 5.1

I just installed soundblaster 5.1 live card and managed to get it to work except the two back speakers, i've got centre,front right and front left working perfectly but the two back ones just don't play. These arn't new but i just wana make sure i've done everything right.

Have you got them activated in the console?

The SB 5.1 will default at 2.1 speakers, so you will actually have to manually set up the 5.1 on the options menu.

Just go to speaker settings, if it's aleady on 5.1 then there is either something wrong with the card, or whatever you have the card plugged into is not set up for 5.1

Do you have a P.C. speaker set up, or is it an amp and speakers for a HIFI etc...?

Listen to the dog...you have to set your windows to 5.1 under Speaker option.

Ah yes it all works now ty . I realised also you have to turn up the volume to get all the speakers working aswell otherwise it just uses two.
