I also use a CD crack program that is perfectly legal. :thumbup:

ya well using any kind of no steam cd crack bs to try and play half life 2 will result in getting your steam account banned and then no half life 2 at all........and i personly think the protection is a bit much on games especialy half life 2...but thats what it takes to stop piracy i guess so i'm not gonna complain.....its a great game so, who cares if you wait 3 sec. for steam to load before you play, its not a big deal!! B)

just for the record valve has already disabled 20,000 steam accounts for trying to use invalid half life 2 cd keys so even if you bought the game and try and use no cd crack you could lose your activated account, then you'll have to buy a new game..........lol

But that's you. I don't even have HL2 so I couldn't care less. STEAM didn't stop the piracy on HL2. but it sure helps to aggravate the honest gamer who bought it.
Same with StarForce, People rather renounces a product even when there is no warez of it, than buying it with that "protection".
