This is new topic because i think it has a totally new subject.. (sorry if i should of posted in other room)
should i do 4x or 8xS?? for antialising and antitropic settins?? whats the difference? On the other hand... Well, the options are the same although i downgraded... before the new driver i had... the driver had only three options.. once i updated like 8 came on.. i uninstalled that one and installed a lil older one that the other dude gave a link to... that has the same options... i'll try NFSU:2 soon and see if theres a difference. IF its lower then i'll just upgrade again and trial and error method. Well, thanks for all the help and stuff but if you have any tips please give them because im not much of a whiz on computers. Thanks! |

since you obviously can't tell the difference, which isn't your fault per say (maybe it doesnt matter as much to you) I would leave the lower settings on then. Then your game will run faster, ya know? Theres not a huge diff. anyway, as compared to say, having 4x AA on or none at all.

for best performance, leave anti-aliasing off. anisotropic filtering will be fine at 4x or 8x, but you risk more performance decrease at 16x. i usually have 4x anti-aliasing and 8x anisotropic filtering, or just no AA, and 8x AF.
