does anti aliasing, anisotropic filtering and etc makes games like diablo2 look any better?
kinda wanted to give diablo2 a spin havent played in ages, but i cant stand the graphics.. will these work for it?

AA will smooth out jaggies in 2D games like the trees,wells and other sprite-ish graphics.
AF on the other hand doesn't seem to enhance any 2D games textures the yeti-ish monsters in D2 are 3D along with a few others AA hits those and I thought D2 was 2.5D, some sort of psuedo 3D |
