Hello
I have had Sims 2 for 1 day now and i thought ``Hey , lets try some cheats``
I went on www.cheatcc.com and found some cool one`s.

I used the cheat to get much money I think it was motherload and another cheat the was suppose to improve me gameing experince.
It was called Vsync and it had a side effect : Increase game performance with some
graphics glitches : Vsync [on or off]

When I tried that one the whole game crashed with the application message that the application had crashed and now would terminate the prossecs....
I started sims 2 again and notice this :

Is that graphical glitches ?
My graphic card temp is : 43 when I play sims 2 so it cant be artifacts.

Plz Help Me Here

EDIT : Use the following case-sensitive codes after enabling the Postprocessing cheats with the "boolProp enablePostProcessing true". Note: Do not enable or use the Postprocessing cheats unless your video card supports pixel shaders.

Does a Ati Radoen x800 Pro Card support that ?

Yes, the X800 does support this.
I get those graphical glitches sometimes with my ati card and still I don't know exactly what it causes.
Have you tried to disable vsync again? Basicaliy what vsync does is force the videooutput to syncronize with the monitor,
so the game seems to be smother.

You can try looking through your ati control panel or control center and look after some compatibility options.
You can check or uncheck some and try and error it. Good luck.

Your card supports post-processing so no problems enabling it there.

In terms of your glitches, they wont be caused v-sync.

If I were you I would try disabling catalyst AI or take a close look at your anti-aliasing, texture filtering settings in advanced display properties found in control panel.

Yes, try disabling the Catalyst AI and try setting the Anisotropic Filtering (AF) and Anti-Aliasing (AA) to 'Let The Application Decide'.

You may find that the catalyst AI may have adverse effects on some games as it attempts to replace some filtering codes with its own ATI 'optimisations'...

Try it out and let me know how you get on!

Il try sims 2 now , one thing i notice now that got me pretty angry is this :

Why is it glitch in my graphic preview here ? I have never seen it before

Can 3 bittorrent download , PowerStrip (a program that adjust the monitor refresh rate) i got my monitor hz at 200 in windows and 85 hertz in powerstrip (my monitor supports that) make graphical glitches ?

I seen a topic here where a guy has problem with graphic glitches in all dx3 games after sims 2 installed but he has nvidia .
