HELP

There are just so many drivers out on guru.com web site for nvidia cards
i would norm get the offical drivers but i heard that 67.03 im prove your performance
in half life 2. so im downloading them as i speak but any help would be greatful.

Im using 66.93 the latest offical drivers off the nvidia web site but i still get hl2 probs
from what ivs seen on benchmarks and my pc shold be able to play hl2 no pro at high settings
but it runs crap at high tex and high char detail iv tried lots of differ things set up ect.
But none seem to work good at high settings.

:rant: Can any 1 help............

(My benchmarks are) 3d mark 03 build 05 (12400) iv tweaked my system since so i havent tested it on 3dmark03.
aqua mark 03 (68 767) but iv gained like 200 to 300 more points on aquamark.
i can run doom 3 on high at 1600x1200
:P and far cry on max settings at 1600x1200 no prob :thumbup:

oooo i got a (xfx 6800 gt 256mb card) @ 416/1120

Yeah, install the latest ones like you have there, also update your Motherboard chipset drivers, this may help

the beta nvidia drivrers 67.02 work very well and are performance
enhanceing in HL2

67.03 is just the microsoft quality tested version of the 67.02 :thumbup:

What probs?

Some ppl are haveing issues with certain drivers.
Like the 71.20 some ppl get video playback issues with.

I might try the 67.02 Extreme G myself. these are 3rd party and you have to login to dl.

I have 71.20 installed and it has made HL2 run smoother for me
