do a search for a config file in your vampire folder. then just look through it for a resolution setting. I'm sure that might work.
But be sure to save a copy of the original file just in case. |

Hey i had the exact same problem, i phoned them up and they told me to uninstall my monitor driver and install the Default XP 1 which wud therefore just Call My monitor "Default Plug n Play" this fixed the problem n i was able to play, if this seems a drastic measure install game, then install the patch that has just come out, if it still dont work uninstall ur current monitor driver n install the Plug n play Microsoft one.

The game runs by default at 800*600, so you can try those 2 things:
1. set the Hz for 800*600 to 60 in your videcard drivers-menu 2. go to [start] > [Run...] > type regedit > see under current user/software/troika/vampire/settings > and change the screenheight to 768 and screenwidth to 1024 could help (The problem is, you're probably running on a LCD screen and your Hz aren't on a default setting.)
