SIMS 2 HELP!

HELP I CANT PLAY THE SIMS @ I DONT HAVE THE DIRECTX 9.0c. some people r saying download ps2 or a card or something i dont know what do do plz help me.

Please repaet what causes error message and copy it down and type it here.

go here and click the download button on the right. When it's done downloading start the file and let it install. If you have a non-teahatty video card then the game should hopefully start

Hi there. I just bought the Sims 2 and I have installed it all and I am gettin this message :

Failed to find any directx 9.0c compatiable grpahics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have directx 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer the opperation will now terminate.

I checked on the DirectX Diagnostic Tool and it says
Name: SiS 650
Manufacturer: SiS
Chip Type: SiS 650 Rev 00

I have also tried downloaded directx from the microsoft website and this hasnt worked either.

Can someone help me please I am not very good at this!
