LMA Professional manager 2005 will not load

Guys looking for some help.
Just purchased LMA Professional manager 2005 and cannot get it to load. As part of the installation you have to input a disc key which is supplied with the game. I have done this and rechecked it and still get a message telling me the key code is incorrect for the inserted disc.
I contacted Codemasters help site and they provided another key, tried it same result. They have now suggested that my graphics card is the problem as it is not one which they suggest is supported, it is a Nvidia GeForce 2 MX, the GeForce 3 is supported.
I ama abit doubtful about their logic as the game never gets to the stage that it runs it only gets as far as the security input of the key code so cannot see how the graphics card is having an effect. Any help would be appreciated.

ps have updated the graphics card drivers from the Nvidia site still the same.
