GRRR, why is this such a problem for us all.??

My Sims2 won't work either because of the "failed to find DirectX 9.0c graphics adapter in this system".

I only bought my computer brand new a year ago.

Name : SiS 650
Manufacturer : SiS
Chip Type : SiS 650 Rev 00

Any help would be great.

probably cuz it has a sucky graphic card,

give some more system specs plz

like : CPU, RAM , and graphic card

i only know my motherboard has a SiS 648FX lol

didn't those loser @ EA made a patch yet for this prob? i hear this prob all the time.

more info is pretty helpfull for us, too.

hmm, seems like the sis 650 chipset is reasonably decent (at least fast enough to run the game), but since it has integrated vga that's probably why it won't run.

You need to buy a new video card (might want to spend about $150-$200), and have someone install it for you. That'll make it run, probably smooth as butter.

there's so many posts about problems with sims 2 because mostly only women/girls buy this game and they usually have no idea about pcs. obviously you need a new graphics card.

i have an intel pentium4, 2.5ghz processor, 256mb ram, 80gb hd and SiS650 32mb shared graphics.

I've see more problems about the Sims 2 than any other game ever. It's really rediculous and I wish I could do something to help, but I can't, sorry, but I'm sure others will get you straight.
