pc crashing

The PSU sounds like it's giving out a too lower voltage, take it back and get a different make.

hi every1 was wondering if any1 could solve this problem.
whats happnin is that when the i play any type of game i could b playin for maybe an hour then all of a sudden the pc just switches off then reboots.i am runnin a p4 2.8g 1gof ram and a geforce 6600gt 128 mb agp.
i got the new graphics card for crimbo and then when i opened up pc realised had to get a new psu for more power so i went out and got a new 400 watt 1.now everthing seemed to be great for a wee while then this happened :rant:
i am also running everest home edition and when i go to "computer" then "sensor" down where the voltage readings are the 1 thats meant to be 2.5 volts actually is only 1.17,this seems to be too low so if any1 got any ides that would be great cheers. :thumbup:

just go into your bios and go to cpu vcore settings and increase the vcore by half a volt
so if it was 1.65 by defoult make it 1.7
all i can say is that this problem is tied in to the radeon and it sucking up too much voltage from the power supply and not leaving enough for the rest of your system
