LotR:FotR PC problems

Did anyone else with Black Label's Fellowship game have issues getting Tom and everyone else to move after the Old Man Willow fight? I'm wondering if perhaps I just have a defective game, as even when I reinstall it the same thing happens. I can attempt to talk, throw rocks, fight spiders, and everyone just stands there, frozen.

If there's some special trick to getting people to react afterwards, I'm not seeing it...

I have been palying this game, off and on since december. Once I upgraded the video card (G4ceTi4400) and disabled Norton AV, all was well. But, the coding is Really quirky for a game that retails for $50.
Also, I suggest getting Ad-Aware(http://www.lavasoft.de), and running it to check for hidden programs running in the background on your rig.
