Oh Noes!

well im having this tiny little sucky problem, when i start up my pc, it like starts up normally, with the bios stuff, hard drive and stuff, but when it wants to start the windows xp stuff, it just gives me a black screen, the computer seems busy and all, but nothing is happening, and i surely dont want to reformat my hd, since i have alot of cool stuff on it, and i dont want to lose it

so any suggestions.?

If it's xp then just put in the cd and "follow the on screen instructions", there is an option to re-install just the os (deleting windows folder)
If it's something else just delete windows and program files from dos and install windows again.

installing windows again is performance loss, so ill be waiting for people with other ideas ^_^

Well, i am thinking of an videocard driver problem, try starting windows in safe mode (push reset on your computer and windows will probably give you the option to go there) and remove your videodriver.

I just had these problems with my ati driver, it workt for me so it might work for you!
