Hi
usually I dont have any kind of probs with games and apps, but now that has changed thanks to Starforce 3. Today I bought Trackmania Sunrise and was hoping for some fun at the weekend. Instead I have surfed the net in need for an clue why Starforce 3 copy-protection isnt validating my bought game and starting it for the love of god. I removed any Virtual Drives and progs that could conflict, still no sign of approval of Starforce 3. I tried it in 3 dvd drives and the result was always the same, after the launcher pops up I go to start and then nothing for about 3 sec and the error box emerges tells me to insert again and restart, while the cd is resting in drive. Anyone has a clue what the hell Starforce 3 looks for or how I can get it to work? Please help! :francesco: P.S.: Already emailed support, but asking you wont hurt...

I heard you can override sf3 with a usb dvd burner...hope it helps ;)
On the other hand old-fashioned cd-rom drives don't let sf3 do a full scan, might cause less troubles

that's kinda cute. I never had any probs with SF protection, still I don't like it.
What's still gettin to me is why noone managed to set up the game so that once you deinstall the game SF gets deinstalled with it. it stays on your sys even if the application it came with is long gone. you need to get a SF remover to get rid of it...and even then it's only doing half the removing ![]() |
