Rayman 3 - first impressions?

Did anyone here get the demo yet and manage to try it out? I'm grabbing it now, but should be leaving shortly for a few hours so won't be able to have a good look at it till the evening. Leave your first impressions here plz

Rayman 2 was one of the best games ever to come out on Dreamcast. I sold everything else except that, Crazy Taxi 1, and Soul Calibur .

it could be good if it wasnt for the damn speedy camera :/
totally ruins the gameplay

i don't like the jumping. i think it was some kind faster in rayman 2

I gave the demo a go earlier today, and I share your opinions. The graphics look okay, especially if you turn the setting up on the highest setting. The sounds are boring, and one aspect I believe is under development, but the gameplay was a disappointment. Mostly you're just jumping around throwing crap at things, and even though Rayman does have a couple of new moves I do think the game would've been more fun with for instance wall-jumping etc. I'm not going to judge it too hard just based on a demo though. We'll see in march how it turns out.

It does pretty much suck. I never really liked the Rayman series anyway, but this one seems subpar to the first two.

Rayman 3 demo may suck but it´s a DEMO , i think it was the same with Rayman 2 demo , but Rayman 2 is cool.I got it one PSX even , one of the nicest platform games on psx i say.The graphics in the third is just minor improvements i think ,more polys it seems,and gameplay the same.Well well i think the final game will be cool.
