BF2 tips and tricks

To remove the intro movie goto eagames/battlefield 2 demo/mods/bf2/movies and remove the demo.bik, nvidia.bik and the ea.bik

To take the time limit off - locate the file gpm_cq.py in mods/bf2/python/game/gamemodes. Open it with notepad, locate this line, host.registerhandler )'timelimitreached' on timelimit reached, 1), place a #in front of the h in host so it looks like this - # host.registerhandler ('timelimitreached' on timelimit reached, 1) you will still have the time but it wont stop after it reaches 0!

its easier to kill people when the gun is on semi

and run at tanks i know it sounds crazy but hey if you have c4 it makes alot of sence

My favourite thing is to get in the plane, preferably the harrier for US, go high in the sky and then dive down at the enemy post, jump out about 200m and parachute, then watch the plane crash into a base, wipe out a few of the people, as i glide in and land on a building roof

the helicopters are pretty sweet, love flying those baby's....I can't seem to get the hang of flying the fighter jets though (too damn fast)...lol

It's not that they're that fast---its that the map is so small...

i didn't know the maps can even get alot bigger too. yeah yeah, i know there can be 64-players, but i thought you played them on a 32-size map. if you pay attention on the map, you notice it is possible to have another beach outpost on the right side of the last. if you look around closely, left of the arty of the MEC you see yet another helipad and some places to set up a base.

Yeh when it loads the map theres a small 100by100 image and then a smaller red box inside the images, which looks like it's the second option for the map size, so it's all cool. I love bf2 although, atleast on Omen, i find that heli transport it's essential, mainly because the black hawk is bad ass slow. Plus, today there were atleast 10 of us going in like a squad, man everyone wanted to join my squad it was so cool.
