hi all im new, just thought my first post would be about war of the worlds, i think its the best movie ever, but i hear alot of people saying its crap (!!!) no way.

War of the Worlds was indeed good, but did not live up to the hype surrounding it. The special effects, and sound effects were brilliant, the acting was great, but in my opinion and many others opinions it was too closely based around the family, and didn't concentrate on the 'War'. I would rate it 8/10 though, as it was still a very good film.

i agree with you with the family sitiation, it would have been great to see the movie based on the war instead of the family but would not be as good you see the movie would be boring for most people, most people do not want to see a movie soely on war, but want to see wat they saw with the family based movie, do you know what i mean?
i loved the movie 10/10, saw it twice and downloading it.
