Just found out about an upcoming game for this Holiday Season called GUN. Looks pretty interesting.

GUN-Looks promising enough, probably more GTAish, like you wanted.
Red Dead Revolver-Solid, reaking of quality.
Dead Mans Hand-The average shooter set in the west.

Not a whole lot of variety. You can probably find both RDR, and DMH fairly cheap right now.

Desperadoes is pretty good, but it is more like commandos than any other game i can think of.
