I have been at GH for almost three years now. When I first got here, there was one forum and a handful of us that were here on any kind of regular basis. Yes, most of of are a tight knit group, but that doesnt mean we want to exclude anyone. I love to see the forums grow and have new people all the time. We want people to join and share their opinion and what they would like to see from GH.

Being a tight group has its disadvantages and its advantages. On the plus side, everyone basically knows everyone else and it is really easy to chat and discuss anything, on the negative, no one wants to join cause they think they will intrude. This is something I don't want to happen. Gamershell is a major game site but yet the forums are less that great.


We have tried getting guests to pm admins/mods in the past to fix this. I don't think it is working well so, if anyone has a suggestion, comment, can code, etc feel free to write me at nxsivex@yahoo.com.

I dunno, I've always liked the forum no matter how many confusing foreign people and/or annoying fan boys have joined. I have been here for quite a while, and most of the members know me.

ah well, i honestly agree and never try to put some1 down if its not in kindergarten. i just made my own sig a couple of days ago and i knew everone hated it (though not saying it out loud), but they said how to make it nice and cool whatsoever.

i also recently joined DA Designs forum to take up the great sigskills from the people bucky himself is talking about. they've proven to be excellent tutors and i am well underway in making my own sig as l33t as theirs!

what we honestly don't need is that this close band of people, where i think i am starting to be one of them, is falling apart. we need criticism, not flamewars. i don't know what the english saying is, but at home we say 'from errors you learn' and 'making mistakes is only human', and that needs to be taken into account by some.

i can imagine some forumites also thinks we moderators aren't doing are jobs to make a forum welcome and well-sustained. i think we need this kind of impulse, a way of making this forum more accesable for others. maybe a new font or layout? sometimes i get the impression the forum is a bit simple-looking (ofcourse, no offense to the creator). if i had the expertise in layouts, i would make one myself happily. currently only GM has that kind of devine power imo.

i think i will be going to help GH a tad more in the future, when i get to the level of GM's art skills.

and ofcourse, create a new BF2 clan which we all been waiting for. gonna make a topic on this soon enough. and when the accout/ name-changing issue is solved by EA

me points finger at GM-ass-licking-fan-boi and laughs :P

Maybe an interactive section "How to undress a drunken-monkey" would draw some ppl

tbh no idea how to boost ppl joining apart from trying to be nice and help were I can.
