CNNMoney.com's Game Over column has posted up word that Sony Online's long in development massively multiplayer RTS game Sovereign has been cancelled after over four years of development. The article quotes Sony Online's Scott McDaniel as saying, "We came to a decision that it was not going to be what we wanted it to be....It never really had the magic.".
