PC games vs. console games

Last time not very good tendention takes place: PC games are beign made for all platforms or first - for consoles and then - for PC. As PC lover I can't say I love such a way of making games, because the quality of them falls and it is hard to play some games on PC without joystick or other stuff.

So, what do you think?

Well yeah I agree with you in the sense that some games are better on consoles and others PC for a number of reasons.
Controls, Techincality and Cost I think are contributing factors to why some people prefer a console game than the comparison on a PC.

There's still a lot of games being developed for the PC market in mind. Anyway games such as Doom 3 for instance look pretty stunning on the PC on ultra settings, while the Xbox version flails in terms of graphics in comparsion at least.
I doubt that games will be developed seperately due to the cost implications and the question arises; is it really necessary?

May be not separatly, but yhey should be ported to PC normally, for example as Riddick.

i don't think after next Gen consoles are launched there will be any diffrence between pc and Consoles, in fact if you this this way! next generation consoles like PS4 and X360 are clearly far advance than current AMDs and Pentiums!

they're actually not.. the main good thing about Xbox360 is that the standard resolution for games will be really high like 1600x1280 or whatever. it's gonna be REAL good looking and that's probably due to the video card (which is available to PC). but it's a big step for consoles to have such high resolution and it should look really good on a high definition TV. i think the higher detail will be one of the main selling points for xbox360 because it will look so much better than 75% of current PC's out there. there are alot of people in these forums who have PC's with much better specs than the xbox 360 though. also the reason games are guaranteed to run so well on xbox360 is because developers don't need to worry about "what if the user has this kind of videocard, or this kind of processor? we better test it on all these different specs" it's just one xbox360 and developers know what it can and can't handle so its always much easier to design games for a console than a PC. they don't have to worry about different users with different specs, since all xbox 360's are the same.

even a high def. tv can't handle 1600 res. so wtf, pc's can be upgraded each year ,or for some of us every couple months ;) xbox360 well.....can't be. 2 years from now ati & nvidia will release a gfx card that pwns whatever is in the X360 & ps3 actually theres noway x360 or ps3 has a gfx chip better then Nvidias 7800GTX or whatever it's called, and thats already on the market... B)
pc user will be running 2 gigs of ram as a standard....

even if they were as good as pcs the computer would pass it instantly,

but i like pcs for fps and console for everything else bc u have more control
ie: sensitvity,

PC for everything but Beat'n'Ups, that's a consol thing. There will be never a consol that outbeats PC, only getting on par with one at the time being.

I dont know man, money doesnt come out of my ass. I can barely upgrade, so consoles are better for a low buddget person like me.
