300+ bots??? dude, you must be kidding.... i mean, even with the secret intelligence hyper speed computer you wouldn't get 300 bots on a smooth basis, not to mention if the maps could take em!

anyways, your comp seems okay, enough ram yes, tho the video card....mh.... i think this would take the pc down. however, settings for you will still be on high, although i recommend you not using AA or AF.

my friend, the current bots set is 16. if you tweak it you can get it to run with 32 bots. if you tweak it into the core files you can make it every number you like. if you like playing games in slideshow-style that is...

where did they tell you you were able to play with 300+ bots?

i just bought a HP Pavilion zd8000 and im not sure if my comp is capable of playing battlefield to its full potential like with good graphics and 300+ bots.
my curent setup is:

Intel® Pentium® 4 650 w/HT Technology, 3.4GHz

17.0" WSXGA+ BrightView Wide Viewing (1680x1050)

256MB ATI Mobility Radeon™ X600

1.0GB DDR2 SDRAM, 533MHz (2x512MB)

100 GB 5400 RPM Hard Drive

etc.

i dont normally have fast internet connection so ill be playin with bots alot, and i want to play with at least 300 of them. so let me kno if this is good enough or will the comp lag, or frames suk watever.

your HD is only 5400 RPM, thats below the "normal". the "normal" is 7200 RPM, and if you wanted to go faster, you could get a raptor, which is 10000 RPM. Also SATA would be another option to go for the HD stuff. its the part that may slow you down the most in my opinion.

about the whole 300 bots thing whatever. i dont kno if there called "bots" but when ur playin bf 1942 and u do like instant battle, u can set how many enemies there are, or how big the teams are like 100 vs 100 or watever. i jus wanna be able to play about that much clearly. and with the HD drive thing. the 100 GB 5400 rpm HD was the highest i could get. i want to upgrade the video card, and the hard drive but i herd its expensive, and its way to hard to attempt. oh yea, and does anyone kno where i could get a free tv tuner?

Free tv tuner? Try looking from trashcans if someone has thrown one away…
