Writers Wanted:

We need writers willing to do editorials (Xbox2 vs PS3/etc) Interviews (ask companies questions on upcoming titles) and maybe other articles.

As of now our current staff is busy with school and reviews, so they have no time to do interviews and editorials. If you want to start working for us, this is a good place to start. Please, serious inquiries only. If you can't write, don't bother, our editors are busy enough as it is

If you can write the English language very well and are interested in writing please inquire within.

English does not have to be your native language, only well written. You must have a desire to write, and write a lot. Knowledge of computers and games is a plus. Ages 16 and up.

If you fit this profile please send a sample a text of something gaming related to kurt . k @ gamershell . com.

Sample text should be in the context of gaming. 2-4 pages only.

If you have a modded console (xbox/ps2) then you can possibly do previews. Companies send me copies of their games for preview, but your console must be modded, unless you own a debug console...

Oh and before the questions start, no we will not mod your console or have it modded

Do we get to pick which games we would like to review/preview out of the ones you recieve? or do we just take what we are given?

i think we're just about always accepting reviewers if they've got the skills and preferably some experience...

regarding payment you shouldn't expect to get rich at least ;)

those that have written a lot tend to get paid, but there's kind of a period where you have to prove your worth

Payment will be decided upon acceptance. You should not base this on payment, because it isn't a lot and you can't buy anything special with it. Since we like long-term folks we would probably start paying you after a few editorals are up.

If your first question is about payment, then you aren't in it for the right reasons.

when you're new you'll usually have to take what's given to you, but if you love soccer games, obscure flight sims, f1 games or other weird things then you can probably get what you want out of those.

How often would we receive games to review? 1 every week? Every 2 weeks? Etc?
