Impresions on Revolution's controller

What do you make of the new controller? Gimmick or inventive? I've given it some thought. It would seem that its a combination of past peripherals that have come out using some kind of motion or infra-red novelty. But I think they've come up with something that really is what they claim. Imagine playing a first person shooter where you use the stick to walk and turn, and the remote style controller to actually point and aim and fire the gun wherever you want it. I mean, everyone already is familiar with picking up a remote and pointing it. Clever design from Nintendo. Although you might look like a bit of a tool swinging the thing about playing a game.

I probably wont buy any of the new consoles, but I admire Nintendos idea. Anyone noticed they are the only ones to change the controller with every new system release?

X-box 360....same contoller

PS3...besides the lame shape, same controller.

Id really like to try Nintendos new invention out, see how it plays.
