I don't know WHO the hell closed that Splinter Cell thread just a minute ago, but i happenend while I was typing my reply!! Â* Â* Â*

Anyway, to not let my time be spent in vain, here's what I wantede to say:

"If you ask for a nocd-crack, it doesn't automatically mean that you want to use it on some "1337 warezed versian" It can just as well mean that you don't feel like switching cd's every time you want play the mofo game.

For example take UT2003, how annoying is it when every time you wanna play a short online DM for like 15 minutes or so between your daily business, you have to throw everything in your room trhee times against the wall, just because you need the fucking CD to play a game you legally own?? ? ??

Isn't it far more convenient to just use a crack so you can just hit the UT2K3-desktop icon, on the desktop when you wanna start playing instead of: first to start looking for the cd, second opening the cd-bay, after that putting the cd in the drive, followed by you closing the bay and waiting untill the cd-rom is fully read and autorun starts of, and THEN finally play??

Especially when you have tons and tons of CD's (like me) and I KNOW many many other not-noobs have the same "problem" it can get very annoying and tedious to always use some lame cd to start playing, especially when it's not necesary at all, to play the game..."

So you see, (probably Bucky:p) there was nothing illegal with his request and so there was no reason to close the thread!!

PLease re-open it!

use daemon-tools if you got so many cd's, stop whining this aint a crack-distribution forum.

FYI... I am the one who closed the thread for 2 reasons:

1) I don't care if it's legal or not but as gng said, this isn't a crack distribution forum

2) IF the thread had been posted in the RIGHT forum (Gamer's Hell help) MAYBE i wouldn't have closed it, but I'm tired of moving threads from one place to another because people are too lazy to read the rules or simply don't care about them.

And no, i won't reopen it.

Something to consider:

Even though these cracks may be used for legitimate purposes, they can also definitely be used to avoid paying developers for their work.

If you want Gamer's Hell to offer you 1st shot at gaming news and demos, you have to consider how these developers view this site.

If they come in and see people passing around nocd cracks, what do you think their reaction to Gamer's Hell will be?

That is why I have a "shoot first" response to posts like that.

no cd patchs are illegal. We all know that. All EULAs imply that is illegal to dissamble a game exe.

Then again the acceptance of cd patchs in gamershell is not that clear, I mean, they publish nude patchs too (which most of the time violate the same rules than the no cd's patch)

Still for developers nude patchs are not that bad...but no cd's patchs are responsible for the most of the piracy(except clone cds of course).

But for gamershell own's sake they should close and delete all no_cd crack threads.....just in case....

Besides...there is nothing that you couldn't get with a nice google search or Edonkey *Hint*

well, that last sentence of Maldita Veltinchad was more offensive the the whole question for a certain crack, but that's not the point atm

The point is that Inforgrames even releases or concurrs with the fact that on their fora, n0-cd cracks are being distributed, so if a publisher allows these files to be distributed among the players freely, then why would a site like gamershell.com have some kind of problem with it??(not that I care or anything, but it's just silly)


Here's an example

Carnage = arguing for the sake of arguing to try and stop the bordum that is brewing inside of him.

Cd Cracks = there are two sites that i know of where to get them and any lamer can type "CD Crack" in a search engine and probobly find what thre looking for (if they have a brain that is bigger than the size of a pea), and these forums arnt about asking for CD cracks as Gng has already said.
