HL2 HDR Patch

Anyone else noticed a drop in FPS with the new official Half-Life2 HDR patch? Playing through the game from the beginning (1280x1024,4xAA,8xAF, All Max Settings) and there seems to be some sluggish moments!...

... I wonder if Valve have done some enchancements to the game code to support somekind of HDR rendering?

Yea, I noticed this when I tried to replay a few levels the other day...but they've just released another update which seems to have fixed it again. Im not sure cos I was playing thru a different level, but it seemed smooth(er) today.

On the other hand have you been playing the recent Dystopia mod? First there were some graphical errors and random ctds after the first update, and now after the second update the game won't even start! Basically its screwed! Seems like the dystopia devs weren't expecting HDR to affect them, hehe...
