Hm... ok, i only got this demo at first cause its early and im bored..... so i get it... start the game after i fix the controls to how i want them and max the graphics out... so i play the first mission .... which would be to fight the T-rexs off... even though the grpahics arnt the BEST.. there still pretty good and if you turn the sound up and just with the blur effect its pretty damn intence i was rather impressed with that... i found myself almost on edge trying to stay alive when the T-rex is chasing you... so that alone was worth the download... Now for the other part of the demo... the King Kong vs T-rex...that was just fun and killer..... i had an extremely fun time tearing into those T-rexes with Kong.. the way they made the style of fighting was awesome it reminded me of that old sega game i believe it was Primal Fear? but its bad ass.. its hard to play with the config like it comes the rage button should not be the middle mouse button it gets to hard to win.. i changed it to E and it rocked the shadows are nice as well... i was very satisfied with it...
Pro's ..
= gameplay was awesome
= Visuals were good+it had a slow down feature during kong vs t-rex
= sound was good as well you get a good feel in teh game
Con's
= the human models lacked some more polishing and more details
= While the humans were talking there was no real mouth movements....
= voice acting could have been slightly better jack black didnt sound like jack black to me...
= you almost have to change the rage control its to difficult.. what were they thinking ;p
But overall i give it a 8 - 10
If its about 30 dollars ill buy it dont think its worth 50 but we'll see, also just the demo alone is a good one so try it out and leave comments i wanna see your opinions as well.

Just finished it, didn't feel like I was actually playing it though. Pretty much just wailed on buttons (I didn't even look at the controls) and finished it no problem. BUT... it was worth the download (hi bandwidth) cuz the sound and visuals were cool! Maybe that means the movie will be cool. I love Jack Black in comedy but I have my doubts with him in an action flick. Looks like King Kong will have the lead role though.

It was mindless fun. something you'd do once just for the ride (we've all been there admit it) but I didn't get any sense of strategy or even reflex-fu, like I said earlier just a psycho button masher and watch the cool outcome. Or as Dane Cook would put it "like eddie gordo when someone doesn't know how to do combos but are hitting the buttons randomly"

actually this game was a virtual copy of prince of persia : warrior within. Having a hairy skin doesn't make for a new game. Zero chance of shelling out for this unoriginal rubbish.

For me to be honest no, wasnt impressed that much. I suppose there was a nice scale to the game the first person part trying to get t-rex attention was quite good, it realy looked like you were standing under a 3 story tall t-rex. The third person king kong level was just for me anyway a button bashing frenzy with bodgy camara angles and ok graphics. Maybee the final version will be better but since its release date is very close i dont think it will change that much, I think we have pretty much seen most it has to offer in the two levels they released. SHOOT dino lots in First person mode and slap a lot of dino's in gorilla mode this game would suit a rental for the weekend, I wouldve been dissapointed buying it. My score is at a push 5/10. dya think im generous or a bit tight fisted?
Hope you like my thoughts on it B)
Also could somone tell me how to get pictures and animation added to each post. id like to know how to do it.
Cheers

I'll rent it for the PS2 when it comes out. I have a feeling it contains about 4-5hrs of gameplay.
Anybody else getting the feeling that games like this are more about promoting the attached movie than they are about gameplay?

So true. Though I must admit there are indeed a few good movie-games out there. One being Riddick and it came out way
after the movie, so I have the feeling it was one of the few movie-games which the dev-team had a dedication to it rather than
a quick money-earning game.
