patch problems after reinstall bf2

Lo guys,
Bf2 rocks …no doubt BUT i did reinstall the game, then patch it from v1.0, v1.1, v1.2 tot v1.3. Now if i startup this kickass shooter then it says i still work with v1.0…

I did reinstall the game 3 times and no go.

It could be the something within the reg key ?

So, what are the options? Reg cleaner ?

why not try using just the 1.3 patch

i did that after i had to re-install

hello all,

Im getting tired of this update thing....

I installed BF2 restarted pc, installed patch v1.03(170mb) but when i start Bf2 it says im using v.1.1.2551.0..?_?

When i wanna join a server i something get thé message that im using the wrong version.

So again i removed bf2 incl. all maps profiles screenshots etc etc there was nothing left regarding bf2 on my system...Then i used reg clean 4.1 .....reboot....

Installed bf2, reboot, installed patch 1.03, reboot, run bf2 still the same v.1.1.2551.0..

what version does it say when your logged on into bf2?(using v1.03 offcource)

pls advise i wanna blow up ....something....

If you open up ur patch file and click on it, it should ask you for a reg key and then it shouild patch immediatly it work for me

lol don't worry about it mate! Mine says that i'm on 1.1(whatever) too, but I can join all the 1.3 servers. Long as you know you've installed it, GO PLAY!

Fot those who think they have a problem here is what i found....

version 1.0.2442.0 = v1.0
version 1.1.2475.0 = v1.01
version 1.1.2484.0 = v1.02
version 1.1.2551.0 = v1.03

Now, this is just some info, the moment you get errors after loading a lvl and ya wanna be sure about the right version...this may help.

And for EA, is there is autopatch or something? like in eve online? or HL2...etc etc...why not?

All the time i spend on those v. whatever ... i could have killed you.....twice..lol

Hey Oban, that sig was one of first few creations! Nice to see you still use it.

BF2 patching is a nightmare, but believe me it is worth the hassle, because the game is so much better now!

the patch thing.....stupid...it really could be so much better...i mean why they still use this stupid manuel patch thing...this aint 1995 you know :P

the game tho, it rocks im playing from the beginning and it still rocks my mind. NO im not good..lol
