nooo lol i didint said that, i was trying to said that well games are as different as the people out there, personally i think Buffy is lame but oh well some people see something in BUffy that they like so i respect that, yet it doesnt mean the game is right for all the people , Quake 4 is out and most of people here agreed that the game somehow is worth playing, so majority wins! lol ;)

btw im gonna get it tomorrow, i'll trade Halo 2 and that splinter cell for it at EB games, lol i didnt play those at the end, just my bros

Azt3c, sounds like too much work, if you just want to get a game on the cheap:
just go, buy a game, make an ISO from the game disk, write down the CD-key, return it in 3 hours and say it didn't work on your computer. Use Daemon tools, keep the receipt as a proof-of-purchise, or just buy a used copy.

In full honostly though, if you think a game is worth having/keeping/playing a couple times a month, you should definitly buy it, just out of moralities sake. Appreciate the work the developers did and pay them for a job well done.

yeah it does sounds like a lot of work :P, once i get that game lets see if you all are up for a Quake 4 match and well if gameplay is just as good as Quake III Arena i think ill be able to play you at a decent level once i get used to it :P , cause im a little rusty for now and specially that Kamizorix i wanna kick his ass jk

Ok, sorry guys didnt give the review... didnt have time :/... but yea, i still dont now i can just make this small post... everyone has there opinions 8 out of 10 people i've played it loved it...and agree with me when the mag reviews didnt give the best opinions of the game... im just gonna say i've beat the game now.. and now its all about multi... i havent got fear yet but i will soon, and im sure it will be good as well.... So what if the guy doesnt like it... its his lost.... when were all enjoying the sp and multi of Quake IV he wont be... is amount of fun lost... so oh well... mean while... ill be playing.... btw my xfire is Twistedbran .. add me if u wanna try to kill me ;P l8r guys btw the game's sp roxors fun stuff really.

yes it is, and FEAR is cool too, I think Quake is much more fun, but FEAR is a better SP game, Go figure.

even though Quake has pretty damn good AI, FEARs is notably much better, there's very realistic animations when the enemies get hit, the the point that they'll limp if you unload a bit into their thigh, plus the enviroment is tearing apart under the gunfire and grenades. Better AI+So-mo+better story+amazing animations and responsiveness+the enviroment blowing up to peices makes it better then Quake4 in SP. But FEAR feels more like Doom3 though, solo wandering through hallways, seeing enemies every other room, and shit popping out in corners here and there, I just prefer the constant fragging in Quake4.

I got Q4 today, and I think its better than Doom 3 on the whole. The team co-operation is what I mainly enjoy. It feels a lot more immersive than D3 too.

Got it a couple of days ago,
well just what i expected, fast pace action.
Nothing revolutionary, but i like it the way it is.
Only lame thing is bodies disapearing very very rapidly,
i mean i wanted to check the detail of the models (gladiator)
and he was gone before i could get there.

But overall i like this 1 :thumbup:

the models dissapearing is a downpoint of both doom 3 and quake IV, but F.E.A.R? jesus christ thats impressive

can i ask for a lil quake 4 performance advice, running it on my x800 pro is not pretty am i in need of upgrading or is there a patch winging its way to GH any time soon? or does anyone know any cool tweaks that might help?

I know its for Doom 3 but it works for Quake 4 (for obvious reasons). Some of the advanced tweaks improved my performance somewhat.
