I am just waiting for someone to use the HDR on the normal SP campaign.

nope, they could just as well say that we need to look at DoD: source if we'd wanted HDR so badly. i mean, this is fun, yeah, but REALLY not worth the wait. waaay too short.

like the spear tho, its fun

I also Enjoyed the commentary and i hope that they continue to do so. They demo was short, but what do you expect? they did work and do this for free... and by all that commentary it seems to me that a lot of effort and time goes into making a HDR map. or HDR anything for that matter.. ;)

nonetheless, beautiful game but it really need a nice system to run it at decent frame rate

I ran it at maximum settings with max HDR at 1024x768 with 40+ FPS, lowest was 30.
Running on :
AMD 64 3000+,
1gb DDR RAM
Radeon 9800 Pro (not oced)
Windows Home

That was pretty cool I thought, but it kicked the shit out of my Radeon 9800 pro. Quake 4 does also

It was a good tech demo, and little much else though

hmmm...is funny, two of my friends have a system similar to the one you have an IP4 3.0Ghz, IP4 3.2Ghz and a 9800 Pro, 1 gig of RAM
and that card sucks bad, runing this game, their system can hardly run the game at those settings you said you had :P

lol thats what my friends said, they didnt like the performance of the 9800 Pro with this HDR Lost Coast Demo,
but when they play Half Life 2 it does run it at a decent frame rate
look for a better Video card on Ebay dude you might find good deal ;)

i only have a 2ghz processor and 768 ram BUT i got a 6800gt so mine ran poifect it dids
