Straship troopers

I don`t know where to begin . The game is abosutely crap ! first of all its huge , 4gb of hdd space with requirements that would kill even the most sturdy system . My 3.0ghz , 6800 , 1gb ddr can only run it at low settings . Even at high settings with 2fps/s it still looks like crap , the other soldiers are all clones , and the bugs when they die they suddently turn green . But wait ! there`s more !
There`s an obvious attempt to connect the movie with the game , wich fails miserably , the contrast between the two is too great . What else ? sound is crap , control is crap , weapons are lame and boring , i could honestly say that it has all the elements of a bad game , piled up in one big pile of CRAP ! And if i hear the word "marauder" one more time i`ll shoot myself with the rifle that has a girl name , i forgot which one . Almost every person i met so far said bla..bla...bla.. MARAUDER ! :rant:

I don`t recommend this game to anyone , not even a brain dead monkey . THE ONLY COOL THING is the large number of bugs , but only to look at , they have no real AI , just come in one big swarm towards you , wich you can finish off with a few grenades thrown in the middle of the crowd and just plain shooting , you don`t even need a target , the brain dead monkey would have a great time here...

I honestly CANNOT understand how a desert-like landscape cand take this much out of resources . I loved the movie , but this crap has nothing to do with it , just the cinematics wich the developers use any chance they get...

i thought the demo was rather fun, especially when u get the heavy shotgun B) , reminds me abit of serious sam
anyway each has his own opinion, maybe the full game does suck with all those marauders in it :P
