Well, for starters we get to play v8 cars...... and they actually sound like v8 cars... always a plus... anyhow the game looked pretty good, i played on high, however some of the bushes... looked like crap and shadows that were cast from the tree's ... omg horrible but when ur movin fast it doesnt matter, car physics are awesome.. its hard to get used to it at first.... but once you do its cool, it has cool challenge mods along with race mods... like quick race.. car details are very nicely done... Only other thing i didnt like was the light, i dont think its necessary to have all that extra light in the game specially while racing i think the light in the game could be toned down just a tad... but the game is fun... its worth a try for all racing fans... you may find an exellent game in this....

I completely agree with you, except for the lighting. If you go under a tunnel and then come back out the light is really bright and IMHO briliantly done, it really gives that realistic touch to the game. The only thing what may keep me from buying the game is the cops. It really messed up Hot Pursuit and I hope it wont have the same effect in MW.

WHAT!?!?!? hot pursuit was the shit because of the cops, that's that made the nfs series owned.
going to try the demo right now ill be back with impressions.

ummm, it's good and all but i wanna play online, but it ask me for cd key wtf >_>

i pretty much loved the game too. they've definitely done a lot of stuff right this time. it's interesting that they've gone more towards the burnout sense of speed, but i the great music makes you feel a lot more like you're in a movie. will be interesting to see in the full game what the balance is between movie-like music and the standard selection of rap/rock music. cop ai was also really well balanced, so if you do screw up they will indeed by all over you, yet they don't seem to cheat to track you down

Does anyone have a problem installing this?, i tried installing it and it keeps saying that i need direct x 9.0c and i checked bout a thousand times that i have it. So i had to manually install it myself to play. I dont know what else to do so i can play online but to install it the regular way.

No problems installing here, altho havent tried playing online yet..

This is one pretty game on full settings! So its a shame I cant run it smoothly on full settings! :P

Im still debating whether to get this or not... I always find the handling and physics a bit wierd in NFS games i dunno why. It needs to be more responsive. And 100mph never really feels like 100mph imo... despite the motion blur hehe... unlike burnout or wipeout!

Still, its just a mix of nfsu2 with hot pursuit, and elements of burnout... I dont mind them building on the same ideas and I loved all those games, but nothing really feels outstanding or new here...apart from having the exotic cars back, tho I wouldnt mod a lamborghini if I ever had one thats for sure!!

I really like the game, the demo is still installed, which is amazing by my standards, almost every demo I get, is uninstalled within 12 hours max! But this has kept me going back every now and then ;). By the way I dont think online play is actually in this demo, EVERYONE is having this problem, check the forums.

I played online with no problems... you have to sign up for an EA Id tho but my tiger woods Id worked fine.

The online game browser sux bigtime. you can't filter out the full games so it took me almost 10 mins to find a game with an open slot.

Lag on a corner will kill you, I haven't played a lag free session yet and I have a fast connection (tho I've only tried 3 games cuz of the crap game finder).
