Well I was hopeing to give a detailed review of all 3 of these games (Freelancer, Splinter Cel & IGI2), but cannot get IGI2 to run properly (although it runs fine on 2 of my mates machines) and to be honest I have not felt the need to go back and play Freelancer even though I have had it for 2 weeks now.
Yes Freelancer has beautifull graphics, very good so did freespace (although freelancer's are better). I must admit I am not particularly into space sims but I was up for this one. I have no idea why this game took 6 years to make. So far its been a case of take a job, shoot badies, buy equipment over and over. Who cares? Anyway, my mate has completed the main mission in a week and a half - yes he has a lot of spare time on his hands! but this was playing only in the evenings. Anyway can't comment because I haven't completed it - and I am probably never likely to.
Splinter cell however is definetly worth a look. I think the best part of this game is the animation oh and the AI's not bad either. At last a game that says you have to use stealth to succeed, actually works! I am not a third person fan but the way the character moves makes it alot more fun to look at than most other third person shooters.
Well I've had my ramble, see ya.
