John Woo likes to make action stars look like idiots. All of his movies consist of slow motion front flips/side flips/somersaults while reloading/jumping/and casual strolls in the park. He's also popular with making the two baddies shooting at each other stop to look at one another to glare and absorb the sudden dramatic music (in slow motion of course) the making them run/somersault/flip away from each other only to shoot again. His movies are good, but you can't help but laugh at them. His style is the complete opposite of the kind of mood Metroid is famous for.

"A Better Tomorrow" and "Bullet in the Head" are 2 of the best asian movies ever.
Mix both of them together and put a gal in a spacesuit in itand we got "Metroid the Movie"....noone said it's gonna be a good movie
