man silent hill is fuked, so cool but........fuked i admire the masterpiece story lines a plots used in the game though and the movie i greatly look forward to yet dunno if il see it cos SILENT HILL IS SO FUKED scary i mean and gory

Konami mentioned that they were working on a new Silent Hill title back in August 2004 (right before SH4 came out in the US).

They never actually officially confirmed it, and never mentioned what platforms they had in mind (aside from "next-gen"), but another SH title is a no-brainer, regardless. It's a popular series.
