Amazing, I wondered how they'd actually make the idea of Spore into a playable game. Tbh I've never really enjoyed any of Will Wright's games from SimCity upwards, but Spore looks like it could be interesting.

I actually watched 30 minutes of it and then got a little bored. I was surprised at the sheer amount of things you can do in the game. Although there are tons of planets, the actual gameplay seems kinda shallow. I mean you eat stuff as a dot, fight stuff and mate as a small organism, manage a simple city, and finally explore other planets. The gameplay formula doesn't seem like it will last forever, but its definitely interesting!

And the thing is, he only showed off a very small part of the game, so I expect it to have a lot of neat stuff we haven't seen yet. The movie is after all a year old, so it'll be fun to see the changes at E3.
