Yeah have to agree with interman aswell. Chris Sawyers Transport Tycoon Deluxe Edition or Locomotion are excellent. Rollercoaster tycoon 1 and 2 are also notable, however no3 in the series is 3D which ditracts from the gameplay somewhat.
The latest Sim City is going cheap aswell, however it is a really in-depth management system which can get a bit too much if you are used to Chris Sawyer's type of sim. |

I personally like rollercoaster tycoon, but that's because I enjoy making roller coasters full of people fall into alligator-infested water.
Transport Tycoon, despite its age, is imo the best overall. |

I recently played Trailer Park Tycoon. It's a funny idea, but not entertaining enough to hold my interest. If you enjoyed Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, you'll certainly like RCT3. Everything's in 3D and there's a coaster cam where you can actually get on the ride. That's pretty hot.
City Life looks pretty hot too but I haven't downloaded the demo yet. I think I'll do that now...

I don't know, I really didn't like Chris Sawyer's Locomotion. If you want to go to a transport sim you should stick with the older Railroad Tycoon 2 Platinum. Note that this game isn't by the producers of the other Tycoon games.
